The Head of the Qom Seminary, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, emphasized that wearing the turban (Amamah) is a recommended Sunnah and, according to narrations, one of the primary traditions of Islam. He noted that in today’s context the turban carries a secondary title, serving as a symbol of religion and divine values, which makes it highly significant and valuable.
