Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at the 39th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran, Akhund Goldi Kamali underlined that all Muslims must hold firmly to the rope of God and remember that “the prophets and leaders are one, and we all belong to one Ummah.” He stressed that Muslims share the same religious principles and must respect one another.
He described the tragedy in Gaza as the greatest calamity facing the Islamic world today, noting that innocent people are being martyred, famine prevails, and resources are plundered while the world looks on.
The Sunni scholar emphasized that the unity of Shiites and Sunnis is a thorn in the eyes of the enemies of Islam, adding: “As in the past, and while following the guidelines of the Supreme Leader, we will spare no effort to further strengthen this unity.”
Kamali also highlighted the important steps taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran in promoting Islamic unity, stressing that the country, inspired by the example of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the directives of the Supreme Leader, has played a leading role in advancing this cause.
