Hawzah News Agency- Senior Shia Iraqi source or emulation Ayatollah Muhammad Yaqoubi had a meeting with Ayatollah Seyyed Hadi Modarresi on Tuesday, August 6 in Iraqi city of Najaf, during which he emphasized the effective role of the scholars and intellectuals in Iraq, saying that the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) in all countries of the world should play an effective role in society.

The senior Iraqi cleric Ayatollah Muhammad Yaqoubi further noted that the Iraqi nation has all the elements of progress and realization of a bright future, through a serious determination in this nation, it also has the possibility of scientific and civilizational leadership.

This Iraqi scholar also stated in this meeting which was held in his office in Najaf Ashraf that God Almighty has given many material and spiritual blessings to the nation of Iraq, the most important of which is the holy shrines of the Shia Imams and the Ahl al-Bayt of the Messenger of God (PBUH) in Iraq.

He continued by emphasizing the responsibility of scholars and intellectuals in directing the movement of the society, educating it and increasing insight, and said,” the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) in all countries of the world should play an influential role, of course, this should be done in compliance with the laws of those countries.”

It is worth mentioning that these meetings were held in order to strengthen the relationship between scholars, the unity of the Islamic Ummah and to create sufficient facilities for the development of the society.
