Simultaneously with the birth anniversary of Imam Musa ibn Jafar, peace be upon him, a festive ceremony was held at the Mahdia School in Thailand, attended by scholars, students, and some other people.

Hawzah News Agency- Simultaneously with the birth anniversary of Imam Musa ibn Jafar, peace be upon him, a festive ceremony was held at the Mahdia school in Thailand with the participation of scholars, students, and some other people.

At the beginning of this ceremony, after reciting verses from the Holy Word of God, Mrs. Fatemeh Avaei, one of the Iranian seminary professors and scholar of Jamiat he Al-Zahra University, gave a speech while congratulating this auspicious day, and explained parts of the life history of Imam al-Kazim (PBUH).

She elaborated on some of the characteristics of that Imam, especially his temper and control of anger, and the need for everyone to adopt this moral virtue to get out of many feelings of bitterness in life.

In another part of her speech, Mrs. Avaei, referring to Imam Kazem's generosity, considered him a perfect example for everyone in bearing suffering.

In another part of the ceremony, the student choir sang a song in commemoration of Imam al-Kazim (PBUH) with a beautiful performance, which was welcomed by the participants.

A short biography of Imam Musa al-Kazim

The Imam was son to the sixth Shiite Imam, Ja’far al-Sadiq, and Hamidah. He was born in Abuwa, a small city on the outskirts of Medina, in the year 128 Hijri. The Imam held the title al-Kazim which he was more commonly known by.

The Imam assumed the divinely appointed position of Imamah in the year 148, when his father was martyred, making him the seventh Shiite Imam. He himself was martyred in either the year 183 Hijri or 186 Hijri.
