Strengthening interfaith communication requires the training of new spokespeople, interlocutors and activists in the cooperation between the cultural organization and Qom seminary.

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Imanipour, head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, on the sidelines of his visit to the seminary section of the 31st International Exhibition of the Holy Quran in the Iranian capital city of Tehran, had an interview with Hawzah News correspondent, while emphasizing the importance of implementing new approaches in order to strengthen the international capacity of seminaries, he stated,” In terms of playing a better role in the international arena, seminaries have made proper intellectual productions following the victory of the Islamic Revolution.”

He emphasized the significance of republishing the seminary's productions in the international arena and noted,” the international capacities of Qom seminary have not been well presented and remain unknown; As the organization of culture and communication and Qom seminary, we should be able to present the capacities and intellectual productions in the international arena through a close cooperation and interaction.”

The head of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication presented a report on the design of the International Martyr Sadr Award to monitor the intellectual presence of seminaries in the international arena and noted,” In cooperation with Qom Seminary, we intend to identify thinkers who have theories in various fields in order to evaluate the winners.”

He added,” This work will provide an opportunity for seminary experts to share their theories with foreign thinkers along with the presence of the seminary in academic centers abroad; Since the way of development of a theory goes through its criticism, and if there is an opportunity to criticize the theories produced in the Islamic seminary, in fact, the ground for their development and growth will be provided.”

At the end, Hujjat al-Islam Imanipour emphasized that such exhibitions will lead to cooperation between seminaries and added,” We hope that boosting such cooperations will be a step in the direction of strengthening the international capabilities of seminaries.”

The Shia cleric went on to say that training courses have been established for the students regarding interfaith dialogues, and clarified that promoting interfaith dialogue requires the training of new spokespeople and activists in cooperation between the Culture Organization and Qom Seminary.”
