Hawzah News Agency- In his recent speech at the Imam Sadiq (PBUH) Mosque in Al-Qaful, Manama, Ayatollah Seyyed Abdullah Gharifi addressed the recent developments regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque and the role of Muslims in defending it.

Emphasizing the importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque as a central place in the journey of Ascension, he called on Muslims to fulfill their responsibilities towards this holy place.

Ayatollah Gharifi raised the question of whether Muslims, whether as governments or as nations, have fulfilled their duties towards Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque. He continued,” The Zionist threats to occupy this holy place and violate its sanctity require an immediate and serious response.”

Emphasizing the need to strengthen religious and national discourse among Muslims to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied territories, he stated,” If Muslims remain silent on these issues with any justification or motivation, they can no longer consider themselves the guardians of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

This Bahraini scholar continued, pointing out that it is the responsibility of all Muslims to confront this usurper regime with all their might, and stated,” The commemoration of the Ascension must strengthen the determination of Muslims to defend this holy place.”
