Hawzah News Agency- Secretary General of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) Hujjat al-Islam Reza Ramezani was a keynote speaker at the closing ceremony of the International Congress of Trustees which was held in the conference hall of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (PBUH) school in Qom. During his speech the Shia cleric stated,” The interaction of seminaries, especially seminaries of Qom and Najaf, can play a great role in the explanation and development of Ahl al-Bayt teachings (PBUT).”
He continued, "The present conditions in the world have never been as ready for the explanation of knowledge as of this time, especially considering the crises in the field of knowledge and ethics that we are facing; people’s hearts are ready to receive the teachings of Islam."
Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani further noted, “Knowing the capacities of Najaf and Qom seminaries can play a vital role in this regard, although some biased people are looking for differences between these two centers, such efforts will definitely not lead anywhere.”
“People see religious scholars as examples and role models, and today some currents are trying to take this role away from seminaries.” Hujjat al-Islam Reza Ramezani pointed out.
He concluded by saying, “Islam without clergy is the greatest danger that threatens the essence of religion and it should not be allowed to happen by publishing and explaining the teachings of the religion.”
