Hawzah News Agency – Head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council Sayyed Hashem Safieddine stressed that the lastest developments in Ukraine prove again that the US abandons its allies.

“It has been clear that the US wants to destabilize Russia and wants from Moscow to make no reaction,” the senior Hezbollah official said in a local ceremony on Friday.

“When the US finds out that its interests are at risk, it retracts and abandons its allies in order to preserve its interests.”

“Today, Ukraine is alone facing the war. They (the American officials) have been for months inciting Kiev, but when the (Russian) military campaign started, (US President Joe) Biden said he would not take part in the military war.”

The US’ help was limited rather, to anti-Russia sanctions and some aids, Sayyed Safieddine added.

“This is the United States! In Lebanon, how many times did the US break the promises it made to those whom it lured and implicated in troubles?”
