Hawzah News Agency- Chinese Ambassador to Iran Song Peiwu held a meeting with Professor Ali Akbar Rashad, president and founder of the Islamic Culture and Thought Research Institute, where the two sides engaged in wide-ranging discussions on critical regional and international developments.
Confronting the American war narrative through scientific rigor
The discussions placed particular focus on the recent war of aggression waged by the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran, its dimensions and consequences, and the pressing necessity for a robust scientific and media-driven elucidation of this event. Both parties stressed that academic institutions must shoulder their responsibility in dismantling hegemonic narratives and presenting factual analyses to the global public.
During the meeting, Professor Rashad presented the extensive scientific, research, and international capacities of the Islamic Culture and Thought Research Institute, underscoring the pivotal role that scholarly centers play in fostering elite dialogue and generating knowledge within strategic fields.
Forging a new axis of academic collaboration
The two sides extensively explored avenues for expanding scientific and research cooperation between the Islamic Culture and Thought Research Institute and Chinese academic and university centers.
