Martyr Nasrallah Has Become a Global Model of Resistance

The Secretary General of the World Assembly of Ahlul Bayt (PBUT), Professor Reza Ramezani, says the legacy of Martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah must be preserved and presented as a global model of resistance, scholarship, and integrity.

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at a meeting with members of the International Congress of Amna’ al-Rasul at the Assembly’s headquarters, Hojatoleslam Ramezani emphasized that the Congress’ central mission is to revive and promote the intellectual heritage of the Ahlul Bayt (PBUT) and the great scholars of the Shiite tradition.

He noted that future sessions of the Congress will spotlight influential scholars such as the late Grand Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani and Ayatollah Seyyed Hebaeddin Shahrestani, describing them as comprehensive figures with substantial contributions to Islamic thought.

Turning to the upcoming session dedicated to Martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Ramezani outlined two strategic priorities:
1. Comprehensive Documentation: All meetings, research, and discussions of the session must be thoroughly archived, with a clear plan for post-congress initiatives.
2. Presenting a Model: In today’s world, societies are searching for exemplary figures, he said, adding that Martyr Nasrallah— “a mujahid scholar, creative thinker, and resistance leader with global appeal”—stands as a powerful role model for the current generation.

Professor Ramezani stressed that numerous activities and tributes held in Iran and abroad following Nasrallah’s martyrdom should be systematically collected and preserved. He urged the Congress to take responsibility for compiling these materials.

As part of this effort, he proposed organizing multi-day international webinars featuring hundreds of scholars, activists, and public figures. Each participant, he suggested, would deliver a short 10–20-minute video message exploring a different dimension of Martyr Nasrallah’s life, creating a valuable multimedia archive.

Ramezani also called for the production of written and visual works, urging the Congress to gather all available books on Martyr Nasrallah in various languages and unveil them during the event. He highlighted the importance of artistic media—including films and documentaries—as essential tools for conveying Nasrallah’s message to younger generations.

“Martyr Nasrallah was a courageous Shiite scholar who inspired love among diverse communities,” Ramezani said. “He resisted threats, enticements, and pressure, and his steadfastness instilled fear in his enemies. Presenting the full dimensions of his personality will show the world a true embodiment of the ethics and conduct of the Ahlul Bayt (PBUT). As Imam Musa Sadr taught, we must introduce Shiism to the world through the actions and character of the Shiites.”

At the outset of the meeting, Hojatoleslam Reza Eskandari, Secretary of the International Congress of the Messengers, delivered a report outlining the activities carried out so far.
