Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Ahmad ibn Idris, from Muhammad ibn Ahmad, from Musa ibn Umar, from Ali ibn al-Hussein ibn Ribat, from some of his companians that Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:
لا يَزالُ العَبدُ المؤمنُ يُكتَبُ مُحسِنا ما دامَ ساكِتا ، فإذا تَكَلَّمَ كُتِبَ مُحسِنا أو مُسِيئا
A believing servant continues to be recorded as doing good as long as he remains silent; but when he speaks, he is recorded either as doing good or doing evil.
