Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Abu al-Futuh al-Razi in his Quran commentary book narrates that the Holy Prophet(pbuh) said:

On the night of the Mi'raj (the Ascension), I was taken up to the heavens, and there I saw an angel with a thousand hands, and on each hand a thousand fingers. He was counting and calculating with all of those fingers.

I asked Gabriel: ‘Who is this angel, and what is he counting?’
Gabriel replied: ‘This is the angel in charge of the drops of rain. He keeps record of how many drops fall from the sky to the earth.’

Then I said to the angel: ‘Do you truly know, since Allah created the world, how many drops have fallen from the sky to the earth?’
The angel said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! By the One who has sent you with truth to His creation, I do indeed know in detail how many drops have fallen — how many have fallen into the sea, how many on the land, how many in inhabited places, how many in gardens, how many in deserts, and how many upon graves.’

The Prophet (pbuh) said: ‘I was amazed by his precision and the vastness of his knowledge.’

The angel then said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, there is one kind of reckoning that I cannot grasp, no matter what knowledge or power of counting I have been given.’

The Prophet asked: ‘And what reckoning is that?’
The angel replied: ‘It is the reward of the people of your community who gather together and recite blessings (salawat) upon you. I cannot count the reward that Allah grants them for that.’
