Hawzah News Agency- In a statement, Ayatollah Dorri Najafabadi said the assault on the humanitarian mission—aimed at breaking the blockade of Gaza—exposed the hypocrisy of those claiming to defend human rights. He called the move “a continuation of the regime’s hierarchy of cruelty” and urged the Muslim world and freedom-seekers worldwide to take a united stand against such crimes.
The senior cleric emphasized the duty of Arab and Islamic nations, particularly Gaza’s neighbors, to act decisively in response to Israel’s aggression. “Now is the time to stand together and defend human values and justice,” he said, adding that silence in the face of these crimes is a “stain on the conscience of humanity.”
Ayatollah Najafabadi also praised the courage and sacrifice of the Sumud flotilla members—especially the international activists who joined the mission—as “true representatives of humanitarian values.”
He concluded by calling for greater Muslim unity and steadfast support for the oppressed people of Gaza, asserting that solidarity and faith will ultimately lead to victory and liberation.
“Shame on the Zionist regime and those who remain silent. We will never surrender in the defense of truth and justice,” he declared.
