Hawzah News Agency- The newly released works—"Lessons in Algebra and Al-Akhtiyar" and "Questions and Answers"—represent Grand Ayatollah Sobhani’s continued commitment to the advancement of Islamic scholarship and the clarification of doctrinal principles.
Speaking at the event, Hojjatoleslam Esfandiari, Director of the Nawab Higher Seminary, praised the lifelong scholarly contributions of Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, describing the new books as “a pioneering step in addressing contemporary intellectual challenges and deepening the understanding of Islamic theology.”
He noted that “Lessons in Algebra and Al-Akhtiyar” offers a rigorous and accessible explanation of complex theological and philosophical issues, while “Questions and Answers” presents reasoned and well-documented responses to modern-day doubts and inquiries, enhancing both classroom discourse and public understanding of Islamic principles.
It was also announced that Grand Ayatollah Sobhani has begun presenting and explaining the contents of “Lessons in Algebra and Al-Akhtiyar” during a series of public lectures held at the Nawab Higher Seminary. These sessions began on Saturday, July 21, and are scheduled to continue through Wednesday, July 30.
The ceremony served not only as an unveiling of scholarly works but as a reaffirmation of the enduring vitality of Islamic thought in addressing the needs of new generations.
