Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Movahed, a prominent figure in Fars Province, was among the early leaders of political resistance against the oppressive Pahlavi regime. His active role in supporting the Islamic Revolution and his commitment to promoting the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in seminaries and universities marked him as a steadfast defender of the faith and the revolution.
In his message, Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri stated:
“The passing of Ayatollah Hajj Sheikh Ali Movahed has brought deep sorrow. He was not only a pioneer in the struggle against the tyrannical Pahlavi regime but also played a significant role in upholding the principles of the Islamic Revolution. His contributions in academic, managerial, and religious training roles were guided by unwavering revolutionary commitment and piety.”
The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Qom Seminary Teachers' Association extended his condolences to the people of Fars Province, particularly the seminary community, expressing hope that the late scholar's legacy will remain a source of inspiration.
“I offer my heartfelt condolences to the noble people of Fars, especially the scholars and seminary students of the region. May God Almighty bestow His mercy and forgiveness upon the late Ayatollah, and grant patience and reward to his family, students, and loved ones.”
