Hawzah News Agency- the office of Senior Iraqi source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Al-Sistani issued a statement condemning Israel's horrific massacre in al-Darj neighborhood in the Gaza Strip, which left more than a hundred martyrs and dozens of injured as a result of targeting the school.

The text of the statement is as follows:

In the name of Allah

Once again, the occupying forces of Israel targeted refugees and asylum seekers, committing a great massacre in the Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom and wounding of a large number of innocent civilians, and this horrible crime was added to the series of crimes that has been ongoing for more than ten months.

In the recent period, treacherous assassinations by targeting prominent leaders of the resistance and martyring a number of them led to the violation of the sovereignty of a number of countries in the region and thus increased the risk of major conflicts, which, if it happens, would have disastrous consequences for countries and nations of this region.

Words fail to condemn these heinous crimes committed by evil monsters who are devoid of all human values and principles, and it is tragic that they have the unlimited support of a number of major countries that prevent international law from being applied to the perpetrators of crimes against humanity.

We once again ask the world to stand against this terrible brutality and prevent the occupation forces from continuing to carry out their plots to inflict more harm on the oppressed people of Palestine.

We also ask the Islamic nations, in particular, to unite and cooperate to press for the cessation of the genocidal war in dear Gaza and to provide more help to its noble people.
