Hawzah News Agency- the Ministry of Communications of Iraq announced that it has signed and agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran to facilitate the provision of internet services from the border areas of Iran and Iraq to the cities of Najaf and Karbala.
In this statement, referring to the orders of Hayam Elyasiri, the Minister of Communications of Iraq, regarding the need to use all the capabilities of this ministry and its related organizations in order to provide the best services to pilgrims, it is mentioned,” Arbaeen due to the presence of millions of people from inside and outside of Iraq has great importance at the global and national level, which adds to the need to pay attention to it.”
In the framework of this cooperation, a meeting was held with the presence of Ali Yasin, Director General of Communications and Informatics Company, Mohammad Jafarpour, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Iran, and the accompanying delegation with the Iraqi counterparts.
In the meeting that was held between the Iranian and Iraqi sides, the two sides discussed cooperation solutions and providing communication and internet services to the pilgrims from the moment they arrived in Iraq, to the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala.
At the end, both sides emphasized on the maximum use of all communication and informatic capabilities to provide the best services for Arbaeen pilgrims.
