The fifth summit of scholars of BRICS countries ended its work by signing and issuing a statement.

Hawzah News Agency- The fifth Summit of BRICS Scholars concluded its work with the signing and issuing of a statement in the presence of Ayatollah Arafi and Muslim leaders and personalities of the BRICS member countries in the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan on Saturday, July 27.

In the final statement of this summit, the members emphasized on the axes of the role of Islamic spirituality in the exchange of culture and Islamic religions, compliance with ethical principles and humanitarian lifestyle and preservation of authentic family traditions among BRICS member countries, cultural and religious interaction between countries, fight against extremism and avoiding one-sidedness in the world, strengthening and striving for coexistence and convergence and avoiding any differences between religions, strengthening and emphasizing religious and cultural relations between the BRICS member countries.

The meeting of scholars of BRICS countries was held for two days in the City of Kazan in the Republic of Tatarstan; the Head of Iran’s seminaries participated in this event with the official invitation of the head of the Muslim Association of Russia and gave a speech on the topic of the role of Islamic spirituality in the exchanges and interactions of humanity's life.

Religious representatives from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt were present at the aforementioned meeting, and representatives from other countries waiting to join this important international agreement were also present as guests.

With the benefit of about 27 observations of the land area and a population of more than three billion and four hundred million people counting 42% of the world's population, as well as a share of more than 30% of the world economy, the BRICS agreement is considered one of the most important international economic, cultural and economic agreements.
