Hawzah News Agency- the representative of Al-Mustafa International University in Lebanon, held a commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the martyrdom of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, and Hussein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs , Hujjat al-Islam Seyed Muhammad Ali Al-Hashem, Friday Imam of Tabriz and their companions.

In this ceremony, Sheikh Kamil Shahrour gave a speech about sincerity in working for God Almighty and spoke about the sincerity of martyr Ayatollah Raisi, who died while serving the people for the sake of God.

He pointed out,” The sincerity of Martyr Raisi was the source of great sorrow and grief that befell the hearts of believers after his loss.”

At the end of the ceremony, the recitation of the Holy Quranic Surah was presented to the soul of the martyr Khadem al-Reza and his companions.

On 19 May 2024, Raisi, foreign minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian, and several other officials were killed when Raisi's helicopter crashed near the village of Uzi in East Azerbaijan province. Raisi was the second president of Iran to have died in office, following Mohammad-Ali Rajai, who died in a 1981 bombing.
