The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria said,” I was so happy for Iran's attack on Israel that I cried tears of joy.”

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, met with officials of religious institutions and social activists in Nigeria on Tuesday on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

In this meeting, referring to the "True Promise" operation carried out by Iran’s IRGC, he said,” "Iran's attack on Israel created hope in the hearts of the oppressed around the world, regardless of their belief."

Emphasizing that the IRGC's attack on Israel will deter this regime from further crimes, he noted,” The message of this attack was that if this regime threatened Muslim countries up to now, it is time for them to have a taste of their own medicine.”

The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria further noted that illusion of Israel's invincibility, which had permeated the minds of some, was shattered by Iran's crushing attack on this regime and manifested that what was thought was nothing more than a dream and a fantasy.

He continued to say, "I used to be very surprised when I heard that someone cried out of happiness, but when I heard that Iran retaliated against Israel's attack on its consulate in Syria, I was very happy and cried tears of joy."

It is worth mentioning that in this meeting, which is held annually, the events of the past year are discussed and based on that, the policy of the Islamic movement of Nigeria is drawn for the upcoming year.

In response to the Israeli terrorist attack on Iran's consulate building in Syria on April 1, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked targets in occupied Palestine with dozens of drones and missiles early on Sunday.

The Israeli regime attacked Iran's consulate in the Syrian capital of Damascus on April 1. The Israeli aggression led to the destruction of the entire building and the martyrdom and injury of the entire people inside it.

Seven of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military advisors were martyred following the Israeli attack on Iran's consulate in Damascus.
