Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayed, head of the political council of Hezbollah in Lebanon, said in a speech on the occasion of Quds Day on Friday, April 4,” We salute the martyrs of Palestine and the entire axis of Islamic resistance, especially the righteous martyrs who died in the brutal Zionist attack on Iranian consulate center. We pay our respects to the martyrs of Iran in Syria.”
He added,” These martyrs are considered as partners in the victories of the Islamic resistance. On this occasion, we congratulate this great victory to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei and all the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and to the entire great nation of Iran.”
The head of Hezbollah's Political Council continued,” Quds Day came about with the bright decision of Late Imam Khomeini (RA) when he declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as Quds Day, as if he was looking into the future with divine eyes and one of the brightest and most beautiful days are the ones that we celebrate the Quds Day with this persistence, patience, sacrifice and dignity.”
He went on to say,” What is happening in Palestine shows the positive concentration of victories over several decades. The most recent of them is the liberation of Gaza and its previous victory, the liberation of 2000 and the war of 2006, and what is happening today is a collection of the failure of the Zionist regime over several decades.”
Hujjat al-Islam Amin al-Sayed further noted, “The biggest point that was revealed in the current war is that Zionist regime was established more than 75 years ago with international and global support, especially the United States of America, with finances, weapons, media and political support. To fulfill his duties of occupying countries and nations.”
A senior member of Hezbollah also pointed out that Zionist regime is armed to the teeth and will fight the popular resistance groups including the Palestinian groups, and it is not able to achieve anything in this war. This image of the Zionist regime is presented to the world, regardless of the killings, destructions and starvation that this regime commits, it will not disappear.”
At the end, Hujjat al-Islam Amin Al-Sayed noted,” The international community has been hiding itself under slogans for a long time, but Gaza resistance revealed that these people are hypocrites, they lie, they are complicit in Israeli crimes, and they do not recognize any of the rights of our nations.”
