Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Seyed Mujtaba Husayi, the representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader in Iraq, met and talked with senior Iraqi cleric Grand Ayatollah Bashir Al-Najafi from Najaf Ashraf.

Similar meetings are held during the nights of the holy month of Ramadan, when Ayatollah Bashir Najafi receives prominent personalities of the seminary in his office in Najaf.

Grand Ayatollah Bashir Al-Najafi emphasized the status and virtue of the holy month of Ramadan, especially in the city of Hazrat Amirul Momineen Ali (peace be upon him), and pointed out the great and eminent position of religion that God Almighty has bestowed upon us in the holy month of Ramadan.

A group of seminary professors and students from Tehran also met with Ayatollah Bashir Najafi.

The Grand Ayatollah also expressed the importance of seeking in religious sciences and prioritizing practical achievements over theological achievements and said,” action activates performance and influences the society.”
