Hawzah News Agency- Dr. Seyed Mehdi Taheri, Scientific Secretary of the International Conference on 75 Years of Occupation in Palestine, announced that this conference will be held next year, stating that it has targeted the beginning of the Nakba Day and the occupation of Palestine, i.e. from 1948 to 2023, and stated,” No conference of this magnitude has been held so far.”
He considered Zionism to be a racist movement stating that it was founded in 1947 with the aim of creating a national identity and establishing the Jewish nation, he added,” The occupation of the Palestinian land is the first goal of this racist movement, which is based on the Balfour Declaration, initially under the title The Jewish National Home was established. The strategy of this racist trend is to dominate Palestine, The Levant and finally dominate the whole Middle East with the slogan from Nile to Euphrates.”
Dr. Taheri continued by referring to the history of the transformational events of the formation and strengthening of the current of Zionism in various passages of 75 years of history, and continued, “Late Imam Khomeini (RA) recognized the arrogant nature of this regime and announced Quds Day and referred to Palestine as the most important issue of the Islamic world.”
The Research Vice President of Al-Mustafa University’s Humanities Higher Education Complex considered confronting the increasing aggression of the Zionist regime and holding elections with the presence of the main ethnic groups of the Palestinian land as the most important strategy of the Islamic Revolution in facing the Palestinian issue and noted,” despite the importance of the Palestinian issue, so far we have never held a comprehensive conference that covers all subjects of humanities.”
While pointing to the most important axes of the conference, he stated that in this conference, covering 10 scientific disciplines, we have focused on 33 axes, and said,” Global Zionism should not be summed up in the Zionist regime based in the occupied territories; The Zionist lobby, using its political, economic and mass media giants, presented Israel as the defender of Western culture and civilization, and Arabs and Muslims as the opposite of democracy, which the Al-Aqsa storm operation drew a line against this approach.”
