Hawzah News Agency- on the occasion of the birth anniversary of The Promised Mahdi, a great celebration was organized by Najaf Ashraf Islamic University in its conference hall with the presence of the professors, students and a number of poets with the speech of Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Sadruddin Qbanchi, the Friday Prayer imam of this city and the founder of this university.

In this ceremony, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Sadruddin Qabanchi spoke about Imam Mahdi (PBUH), which is a confirmed and undeniable truth from the Sunni and Shia sects, and stated,” In Shia and Sunni sources, it has been narrated from the Holy Prophet that the Day of Judgment will not be established unless a man from my tribe will rise up and fill the earth with justice and peace, after it has been filled with oppression.”

He continued to praise the increasing growth of religious ceremonies in Iraq and honored the efforts made in the Islamic University.

The Friday Imam of Najaf invited young men and women to get married by quoting the Prophet of God that " Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me."
