Hawzah News Agency- the seminary delegation met and talked with Professor René, the head of the theological faculty of the University of Lugano, Switzerland.

In this meeting, the capacities and scientific disciplines available at Lugano University were explained by Mr. Rene.

A delegation from Iran’s seminary also stated the scientific capacities in the seminaries and trends in it.

Also, some philosophical issues that are common in the seminary were explained on the occasion.

In another part of this meeting, opinions were exchanged about the methods of education and training in Swiss universities for priest training. Also, there were discussions about the necessity of interaction for a proper confrontation with atheism at the world level in different dimensions of method and content.

Later, questions were raised about the philosophy of the paintings and sculptures in the church, and Professor René briefly explained them.

Then the approach of Islam to the place of worship in terms of not being crowded and avoiding the image in front of the worshiper was also explained.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided that the delegation from Lugano University will visit the holy city of Qom and seminaries, and develop ways of communication.
