A member of Qom Seminary Teachers' Society stated,” participation in elections strengthens the system and strengthening the system is obligatory, therefore participation in elections is an obligatory and necessary duty.”

Hawzah News Agency- a senior cleric Ayatollah Muqtadaei had a meeting with the members of the Coordination Assembly of Imam Khomeini Followers in Qom Province during which he pointed to the crimes of the Zionist regime in occupied Palestine and stated,” We condemn the Zionist regime's act against humanity in genocide and killing children, women and the sick, and with all our heart we are sorry and touched.”

He further mentioned the issue of Iran’s upcoming elections and stated,” We have held important elections since the beginning of the Islamic revolution all of which have been of some degree of importance and the people have participated in them as much as possible.”

The member of Qom’s Society of Seminary Teachers continued,” We have two elections ahead of us, both of which are important. One is for the Iranian parliament, which is one of the pillars of the Islamic Republic, and the other is the Assembly of Leadership Experts, which has a high status and is responsible for appointing the leader.”

The deputy head of Qom Seminary Teachers' Society further pointed out,” the upcoming elections are different from previous elections, because we are going through a sensitive time and the revolution has been exposed to accusations and danger. Therefore, we have an important duty ahead of us.”

He added,” We are faced with arrogant enemies who want to overthrow this system. Therefore, participating in these elections is a religious and divine duty that rests with the Iranian nation, and God willing, we will witness an election that will strengthen and consolidate the system.”

Ayatollah Muqtadaei called the Islamic Republic of Iran influential all over the world and said,” the significance of this election is as important as the system itself, because participating in the elections strengthens the system and strengthening the system is obligatory, therefore participating in the elections is an obligatory and necessary duty.”
