Hawzah News Agency –The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement while separating Iran from the principles and provisions of the resolution issued on the Holocaust in the UN General Assembly and described it as abusing the international mechanisms by the Zionist regime to cover up its crimes.
As the Iranian mission to the United Nations in New York, in a statement, officially expressed Iran’s position regarding the Holocaust resolution, it is emphasized that the racist Zionist regime is using international bodies to cover up its daily crimes against the Palestinians.
The Zionist regime’s act is another attempt to abuse the UN mechanisms to cover up its daily crimes, which unfortunately has been accompanied by the West’s unequivocal support.
As it is clear to everyone, the Second World War crimes were resulted due to racism and expansionism, which the Zionist regime now inherits and bears the flag of these two evil temperaments.
The regime's racist approach has been articulated in numerous international instruments, and despite the international community firm determination, Israel remains the only racist regime with an expansionist ideology.
Iran has always condemned genocide under any condition and considers it as unjustifiable and that is why during World War II, Iran hosted the refugees from some European countries.
Meanwhile, the fake Zionist regime has constantly tried to use the victims of World War II and the Jews as a justification for its shameless and aggressive actions.
The regime and its leaders have committed all kinds of crimes, especially crimes against humanity, against the Palestinian people and the regional people, in violation of international law.
Genocide, assassination, ethnic cleansing, destruction of homes and human siege are among the crimes that the Zionist regime is constantly committing.
Iran reiterates that the prevention of historical catastrophes requires historical research that should be done without political judgment and prejudice.
Therefore, such restrictive approaches are not acceptable, such a resolution is not considered as a consensus approach and is therefore rejected.
