Hawzah News Agency (Baku, Azarbayjan) - After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and over the past forty years, we have witnessed Iran's economic development based on indigenous production and self-sufficiency,' Qabil Jamalov said.
He pointed out that before the Islamic Revolution, except for the light industry, other economic spheres of Iran did not have much progress, and most of the agricultural products of this country imported from abroad, but now Islamic Iran, along with development in the Industrial field has achieved great success in agricultural development and food security.
Jamalov said all of these achievements have been realized in conditions of massive pressure and sanctions of the West against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and now Iran has a heavy industry using domestic capacities.
He added that Iran has also achieved significant advances in the field of nuclear technology, space industry and ballistic missile manufacturing in the last four decades.
