Hawzah News Agency (Baghdad, Iraq) – A group of media officials from Kuwait met with Iraqi cleric Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim on Saturday, January 20.

During the meeting, Head of Iraqi National Coalition Ammar al-Hakim pointed out the significance of upcoming parliament election in Iraq for the future of country.

Al-Hakim thanked the Kuwaiti officials and nation for their supportive stances on Iraqi issues; he also thanked the Kuwaiti government's efforts for hosting Iraq reconstruction conference in February saying, "This conference shows the willingness of our Kuwaiti brothers to strengthen mutual ties between Iraq and Kuwait."

"Iraqi people showed their might to the world; Iraqi nation proved they can gain great victories and defend all their fellow citizens regardless of their faith or ethnicity." al-Hakim added.

Head of Iraqi National Coalition further addressed the upcoming parliament election in Iraq saying, "This election must be held at the specified time since it's a very significant one for the future of Iraq. This election will boost democracy and stability of Iraq in coming years."
