Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – In a meeting with the authorities of Iranian Islamic seminaries’ Office for International Relations in Qom on Tuesday, May 2, Ayatollah Murtadha Moqtadayi, a senior Shia scholar, asserted, “People in different countries are interested in following the doctrine of Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (ra) as well as Iranian Supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei and the Islamic seminaries.  We must welcome this growing interest among nations and look for new ways to promote such international communications.”

Member of the Iranian Assembly of Experts further stressed developing interactions between the seminaries and academic centers and said, “During my trips to Germany, Switzerland and other countries, their universities requested that seminary scholars from Qom teach some courses in their academic centers so they become more familiar with our Islamic thoughts and doctrine.”

“Fighting the arrogant powers and resistance against their sanctions is something that is approved by other nations; that’s one reason why they support the Islamic Republic of Iran.” Ayatollah Moqtadayi added.

In the end, the senior cleric touched upon the issue of media, appreciating the activities of Hawzah News agency and asked the authorities in the meeting to continue on their path of promoting Islam.”
