Hawzah News Agency- On the occasion of the funeral of the leader of resistance Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and martyr Seyyed Hashem Safi al-Din, Zeinab Nasrallah, daughter of martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, spoke about aspects of his father’s personal and family life and emphasized that people must preserve the legacy of this great martyr.

Martyr Nasrallah was the embodiment of the ethics of Ahl al-Bayt

Zeinab Nasrallah stated in an interview with Al-Mayadeen Network,” I am proud to be the daughter of martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah. In our childhood, we did not have the opportunity to live a normal life as other people, and due to my father's circumstances, we were deprived of living with him. Our mother played a significant role in our upbringing and applied the principles of upbringing that my father had specified. My father was very strict about the red lines he set in our upbringing and was truly an example of an ideal husband and father and the embodiment of the ethics of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH).”

She added,” My father was a very transparent, emotional and compassionate person and did not impose anything on us. We always followed his orders because we deeply believed in what he said.”

Zeinab Nasrallah further noted,” My father's speeches were always aimed at all segments of society, from young to old, and he spoke to all classes, cultures and mindsets. He was not only a leader, but also a true father for the Islamic nation, and the entire Islamic nation lost a valuable figure.”

“My father was always influenced by Sayyid Imam Musa al-Sadr and regarded him as his role model in various aspects of life. Imam Musa al-Sadr was a role model for my father as a leader and guide on a faith, human and social level.” She added.

Martyr Nasrallah's daughter continued, “He never abandoned his studies until his martyrdom, and he pursued the highest scientific ranks in the seminary, which is the highest level of science under Imam Khamenei."
