Hawzah News Agency- Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli had a meeting with the Deputy of International Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi Hujjat al-Islam Mustafa Faqih Esfandiari, and his accompanying delegation while appreciating the activities of Astan Quds Razavi in the international field as well as the services to the pilgrims of Ali ibn Musa Al Reza (peace be upon him), the Ayatollah stated,” The activities that you reported in this regard, all of these are valuable and worthwhile, but one of the most important missions of Astan Quds Razavi is the training of scholars; The scientific aspect of Astan Quds Razavi should also be strengthened to train knowledgeable scholars.”

The Shia source of emulation further stated,” We are all enjoying the blessing of our imams and it should be noted that our region is on the brink and the main responsibility rests with Iran; The basis of the work is this imamate and this thinking of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) and Shia thinking, which should be expanded.”

“Our people are adherents of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, but as long as this affection is not reasonable, there will be no progress in life and society.” He added.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated that modern-day Spain, which is former Andalusia, was both the center of Islam and the center of Christianity; since it was the cradle of Islam, Christianity flourished there as well. However intellectual doubts and the lack of answers to those doubts gradually took away religion from Andalusia, and now there is no news of Islam there.

He concluded his remarks by saying, “We must bring knowledge and new words, we have the Holy Quran, we have the Nahj al-Balagha, the book of Nahj al-Balagha should be in the homes of all of us Shiites, we must bring these teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) to the society.”
