Hawzah News Agency- Maulvi Muhammad Ishaq Madani, the head of the Ahl al-Sunni Ba'ath Afta Council and the head of the Supreme Council for the proximity between Islamic religions, pointed out that one of the main messages of the Hajj is to establish unity among the Muslims of the world. It is one of the religious-political issues of the holy religion of Islam, which is performed every year by hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic people from all over the world, with different nationalities, races, colors and languages, in the land of revelation.

Although Hajj was not obligatory, Arabs performed Hajj since the time of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to attend Hajj to propagate Islam. In those days, the Prophet (PBUH) used to secretly talk with the pilgrims, especially with those whom the Prophet (PBUH) recognized as open to reform. The problem of the people of Medina was the existence of a Jewish minority in this city, who managed to rule the majority by creating differences among the residents of Medina.

Maulawi Ishaq Madani continued to say that when the pilgrims of Medina heard the words of the Prophet (PBUH), they invited him to come to Medina in the form of a treaty. The first task of the Prophet (PBUH) in Medina was to create unity between Aus and Khazraj, so it should be said that the first task of Islam is unity among people, and we should take advantage of the opportunity of Hajj in order to create unity among Muslims.

He added,” The calamities that have occurred in the Islamic world are due to the fact that Muslims have abandoned the path of unity; This is due to the distance and deviation from Islam and not interpreting it properly. We observe in Hajj that people from all over the world come to the land of revelation and perform rituals side by side with the same appearance and the same actions.”
