Hawzah News Agency- Pointing out that all aspects of social, political, economic, international and personal human life can be managed in the best way in the light of the Quran, the President said, “The Holy Qur’an has appropriate answers for all the questions and issues of contemporary human life. With the movement of civilization-building ijtihad, it is possible to give appropriate answers to all the issues and questions faced by the contemporary man by relying on the Qur'an”.

Speaking on Saturday afternoon in the 29th Ceremony of Honoring the Servants of the Holy Qur’an, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the efforts, initiatives and creativity that has been used in holding this year's exhibition of the Holy Qur’an in order to present a manifestation of new works in the promotion of Quranic knowledge and appreciated all the servants of the Holy Qur’an who have spent their lives promoting reading, understanding and knowledge of the Qur’an”.

The President further listed the republic and Islamic aspects as the two basic pillars of the Islamic Republic and stated that the people under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) were looking for the Qur'an to flow into their lives and to form a government based on the teachings of the Qur'an.

Dr Raisi stated that we consider the happiness of mankind in the light of attention and action to the Qur’an and we believe that the teachings of the Holy Qur’an are the refuge of mankind and guarantee his happiness in both worlds.

Dr Raisi pointed out, “In this field, our scholar and clerics have done very valuable work in the field of jurisprudence and principles, but many things need to be done. In the light of the emphasis of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to pay attention to the Qur'an, today a large number of reciters, memorizers and people have been trained whose existence and understanding have been nurtured with the verses of the Qur'an”.

The President also emphasized, “Today there are many capacities for the activities of the seminary and the university in the field of Quranic concepts and teachings, and the government and all institutions have a serious responsibility and duty to create the ground for the society to benefit from the guidance capacities of the Qur’an, especially in such days when is God's feast”.

The President further stated that the key to unity in the Muslim community is to pay attention to the light verses of the Holy Qur’an and added, “Today the key to standing up and resisting the enemies is to pay attention to the Quran, and this peak that has emerged today in the name of resistance in Gaza is based on the Qur’an”.

Dr Raisi stated that the recent events in Gaza, along with the bright page of resistance, is a dark page of the crimes of the Zionist regime, the United States and other countries that claim human rights, and added, “The events in Gaza proved that what guarantees human rights is the Holy Qur’an, not the self-proclaimed advocates of human rights, who are the biggest violators of human rights”.

Referring to the efforts of the Arrogant in "anti-Qur'an" and "anti-spirituality" in human societies, the President said, “These efforts will definitely not go anywhere, because attention to the Qur’an and spirituality throughout the world, especially in Western countries and among the young generation are increasing and cannot be controlled”.

While appreciating the efforts made in the field of publishing and promoting Quranic culture, the President emphasized and clarified the need to increase cooperation, convergence, as well as avoiding parallel work and addressing neglected areas.

In this ceremony, with the presence of the President, the top figures of the 29th year of honoring the servants of the Holy Qur’an of the Islamic Republic of Iran were praised.
