Hawzah News Agency- Mehdi Eyvazzadeh, the information and communication officer of the 40th International Holy Quran Competition, referring to the closing ceremony of the 40th International Quran Competition and the 8th International Student Competition, said,” The 40th International Quran Competition will come to an end on Thursday, February 22 and it ends its work by introducing and honoring the best people in the hall of the summit of Islamic countries.”

He pointed to the planned programs at the end of the 40th IRI International Holy Quran Competition and added,” Recitation of verses from the Holy Word of God, special salutations, performance of Tawashih, as well as a speech by Hujjat al-Islam Raisi, the Iranian President, are among the programs of the closing ceremony of the competition.”

Eyvazzadeh further stated,” The hall of the summit of the Islamic countries at the end of the 40th International Holy Quran Competition will welcome the memorizers and reciters participating in this competition.”

He also mentioned the speech of Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Mehdi Khamoushi, the head of the Endowment and Charitable Affairs Organization, and Raza Murad Sahrai, Iran’s Minister of Education, in this event and added,” the contestants competed in nine disciplines in this course.”

It is noteworthy that awards are presented by Iran’s president to the first to third place in each category. Five disciplines are related to the 40th international competition of the Holy Quran of the Islamic Republic of Iran and four disciplines are related to the 8th international competition for students of the Islamic world.
