Hawzah News Agency- Dr. Seyyedeh Fateme Seyed Madlalkar in an interview with Hawzah News correspondent, pointed out that half of the population of Iran is made up of women and said,” Women with this population play a very important role in various fields and can help the community progress within the limits of their abilities.”
He added,” Imam Khomeini (RA) said in this regard: ‘Just as men should interfere in political affairs and protect their own society, women should also interfere and protect society.’ Women should be with men in social and political activities. (Sahifa Imam Khomeini, Volume 18, Page 403); Therefore, Iranian women can play an important role in the Islamic government and in the fields of politics, culture, and economy.”
He said,” The great founder of the Islamic Revolution has also emphasized: ‘Interference in politics and in the basic values of the country is the duty of women; It is the right of women and the duty of women".
This lawyer also pointed out that in the eyes of the Supreme Leader, both men and women have legal, intellectual, theoretical and practical privileges and this importance is rooted in pure religious teachings, and stated,” The noble nation of Iran, with all the sanctions and economic and cultural problems and the onslaught of the enemy's malicious propaganda, stood for the ideals of the revolution. Iran is the epitome of democracy and men and women with religious beliefs and insight have played a prominent role in the pride of the country at various times.”
He continued,” The supreme leader of the revolution considers the elections to be a change in the country and that the elections will prevent chaos and dictatorship. Therefore, with this statement, the duty of the entire nation, especially women, has been specified. We know that whenever we get close to the elections, the political apparatus of the enemy conspires to negatively affect the minds of the people regarding the elections; But with all these tricks and conspiracies during last 45 years, people participate in the elections.”
