Hawzah News Agency- The President of Al-Mustafa International University Hujjat al-Islam Ali Abbasi was a keynote speaker at a meeting celebrating the personality of Sheikh Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria; The ceremony was held by the management center of Islamic seminaries in cooperation with Al-Mustafa International University in the office of Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, while congratulating the month of Rajab, Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi said,” Africa has witnessed many incidents and events.”
Pointing out that Africa has played a significant role in the developments of recent centuries, he said,” This proves that the African region can be effective in future developments as well.”
The head of Al-Mustafa International University further stated that Africa will be one of the influential and important players in the future developments and added,” Although Western civilization has had limited achievements, considering that it has been reduced to materialism and self-centeredness, it has caused problems for humanity.”
Pointing out that Africa has endured the most suffering from this Western view, he pointed out,” the enemies did not stop at Africa's natural resources, but also reached out to their human resources.”
Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi added,” The culture and view of materialism and self-centeredness of the West has caused thousands of people to be martyred in Gaza. This is the culture of darkness that the world is witnessing today, although Africa has felt this oppression more than any other part of the world.”
The president of Al-Mustafa International University pointed out that the call for justice has been raised in Africa and reminded,” this region is an influential player in the future developments of the world.”
Stating that the colonial culture does not withdraw from natural resources easily, he said,” We have witnessed this issue during the period of old colonialism and neo-colonialism.”
Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi went on to say that many people have been killed for demanding their independence and said,” Westerners have shamelessly claimed human rights today.”
Stating that we are witnessing a civilizational transition in the world, he said,” Some elites have referred to this period as a historical turning point to establish a new world order.”
Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi stated that there are various tools in this path, and noted,” Many personalities are in this path as potential leaders that should be considered as a valuable source.”
He continued,” Sheikh Zakzaky is one such personality who was able to create a cultural transformation in a region as vast as Africa.”
