Imam Reza holy shrine Host Palestinian, Lebanese Scholars

A group of Islamic scholars from Palestine and Lebanon have visited Imam Reza holy shrine’s Scientific and Cultural Foundation meeting with the body’s deputy for international affairs, Seyyed Mohammad Zolfaghari.

Hawzah News Agency- The group who had come to participate in the ceremonies marking the 33rd demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA) in Tehran, received Zolfaghari’s warm welcome and exchanged views over issue of Palestine and the holy Quds.
Speaking in this ceremony, Zolfaghari said: “Having a courtyard with the name of Quds in Imam Reza holy shrine shows its importance in the memories of people and government of Iran”.
Members of the group, for their part, emphasized on their love toward Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and rewarding nature of act of pilgrimage in Ahl al-Bayat’s (AS) shrines.
They also said: “As Ayatollah Khamenei has repeatedly said that Muslims will pray in the holy Quds in the near future, we have our ablution here in Mashhad and say our prayers in the holy Quds”.
The group further noted: “People of the region, including Shia and Sunni Muslims, especially in Lebanon and Palestine, have not given up their resistance despite the evil process of normalization of ties with the Zionist regime. Palestinians and Lebanese will continue their resistance until the promise of prayer in the holy Quds is fulfilled”.
Palestinian members of the group also expressed their interest in sending talented Palestinian youth to study in the scientific departments of Imam Reza holy shrine. They also emphasized the need to hold joint conferences, courses, and intellectual as well as cultural meetings on important issues of the Islamic world.
