Razavi Hospital

Razavi Hospital has been awarded ‘Grade 1’ certificate in assessment of national hospital accreditation program and introduced as one of the top ten medical centers across the country.

Hawzah News Agency –According to the CEO of Razavi Hospital, during the fourth round of national accreditation program, which is a systematic external evaluation of structures, procedures and achievements of hospitals, the facility has won the ‘Grade 1’ certificate.
Dr. Mohsen Mehvar noted that only two hospitals in Mashhad have been awarded the first grade certificate in the national assessment program, which evaluated nearly 1000 hospitals nationwide.
He further enumerated 19 areas in the assessment as “quality leadership and management, natural disasters management, human resources and professional health management, nursing services management, health information management and technology, environmental hygiene, medical equipment management, etc.” Considering these criteria, Razavi Hospital is the best medical center in Iran.
Stressing the exceptional role the hospital played during the spread of the coronavirus, the CEO maintained that the facility has mobilized all its capacities to help Mashhad University of Medical Sciences with the admission of corona patients.
“According to an edict by the chief custodian of Imam Reza holy shrine, we have put ‘Islamism’, ‘financial discipline’ and ‘public service orientation (PSO)’ in our strategic plan, and we will work to transform this center into a regional hub of health services”, said Dr. Mehvar in 2019.
The facility has also been introduced as Khorasan Razavi Province’s green service unit in 22nd Congress for Green Industrial and Service Units.
Inaugurated in 2005, the hospital had hosted international heart congresses in Mashhad for three consecutive years before the corona pandemic with prominent physicians and specialists from the world’s major universities and cardiovascular associations in attendance.
The land of the hospital had been endowed to Imam Reza holy shrine and the decision-makers put it to the public utility offering the world-class standards in health and medical care.
Given the enormous number of annual pilgrims to the northeastern city of Mashhad, Razavi Hospital also offers medical and health services to foreign visitors and pilgrims on highly competitive pricing.
