Hawzah News Agency –Einollahi made the remarks in a meeting with Lebanese Ambassador to Tehran Hassan Abbas.
European countries have removed borders they have scientific relations with each other and hold joint scientific conferences, and each of the European countries is like the cities of a country, and we want Islamic countries to be without borders and visas in the future, he said.
We are ready to hold joint conferences in various fields of medicine in Lebanon or Iran, and the Iranian scientists will attend these conferences and exchange views with their colleagues in Lebanon, he added.
Now 97% of the necessary medicines are produced domestically, and Iran has made very good progress in the field of medicine and medical equipment.
We hope to strengthen exchange of medicine and medical equipment between the two countries and to accelerate the registration of Iranian medicines in Lebanon.
He offered readiness to establish Iranian university branches in Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Hassan Abbas said: “We are aware of the Iran’s progress after the victory of the Islamic revolution, especially in the fields of science and medicine and all social, health and economic levels.”
For many years, the Lebanese government has focused on developing relations with neighboring countries in eastern and western Lebanon, he said.
Lebanon has good relations with European countries, and our goal is to develop Lebanon's relations with Arab and Islamic countries, especially Iran, he added.
