Hawzah News Agency –The Qamar Bani Hashim (peace be upon him) Cultural Foundation in the province of Basra held the 14th az-Zahra (peace be upon her) prize distribution competition forum, for memorizing the Fadak Sermon and the Ziyarat al-Jami'a al-Kabirah of Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon him).
The forum was held in the presence and participation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, on Saturday (17 Jumada al-Thaniyah 1443 AH) corresponding to (January 22, 2022), in the hall of the Oil Cultural Center in Basra Governorate.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by reciting Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, the national anthem and the foundation’s anthem (The Covenant of Allegiance), then the speech of the Secretary-General of the Foundation, Mr. Ayman Ab al-Sadah, followed by the word of Sayed 'Ez-Eddin al-Hakim and the son of the late religious authority, Sayed Muhammad Saeed al-Hakim.
It was followed by the speech of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered on behalf of Sheikh Adel al-Wakeel from the Religious Affairs Department, in which he spoke about the personality of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and her position and status with God Almighty and His Messenger and the Ahl al-Bayt (may God's peace be upon them), and how she became a source of goodness and blessing in every time and place. He also spoke about her relationship to the Night of Decree [Laylat al-Qidr], which secret is not known, and az-Zahra (may God’s peace be upon her) as well, and that everything that was written about her did not fulfill her right and did not understand her secrets. Al-Wakeel also referred to quotes from her fragrant biography and her famous Fadak sermon with high and sublime content.
And then the famous vocalist of Najaf Al-Ashraf; Ahmad al-Fatlawi, and culminated in the presentation of gratitude to the supporters of this work by the General Secretariat of the Foundation and the General Supervisor of Al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad; Mr. Maitham al-Zaidi, after which the draw was held for ten of the first contestants, for which the gift was the dome's flag of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), then the Kadhemiyah Holy Shrine presented gifts to ten additional contestants, and concluded by distributing gifts to the winners of the advanced ranks.
This celebration witnessed a wide presence of the delegations of the Holy Shrines, and religious, academic and community personalities.
