Hawzah News Agency – According to the correspondent of the seminary in Tehran, the representatives of the director of seminaries in Iran attended the Vatican embassy in Iran in a cordial meeting with Bishop Andrzej Yuzovich, the new Vatican ambassador to Iran, while sending the director of seminaries Ayatollah A'rafi's greetings on the occasion of Jesus Christ birthday and the arrival of the New Year and his appointment as the new ambassador of the Vatican, discussed various issues.

The meeting was attended by Hosseini Kouhsari, head of the Center for International Relations of Seminaries, Sheikh Amin Din, the director of the Office of inter-religions relations of the seminaries.

"Our goal is to expand relations with religions," said Bishop Yuzovich. From the point of view of the Pope, sending a representative is not just for political communication, but we have specific plans for religious communication, and especially communication with religious centers. In his latest official letter, His Holiness the Pope Francis spoke of brotherhood with Muslims, which of course means both Sunnis and Shiites. Interfaith dialogue does not just mean talking, it needs to be heard more.

Hojjatoleslam Kuhsari, while expressing satisfaction with the meeting and congratulating him on his appointment as Vatican Ambassador to Iran, said: "The expansion of communication and interaction between religious leaders can be promising for a bright future."

He continued: "I am the bearer of the congratulatory message of the director of seminaries to all Christians in the world, and in particular to his holiness the Pope himself." I wish all Christians in the world have a blessed year.

Hojjat-ul-Islam Kuhsari, while briefly introducing the seminaries, invited the honorable ambassador to visit the seminary and meet with scholars of Qom.

It should be noted that at the end, the congratulatory message of the director of seminaries and spiritual gifts was presented to the Vatican Ambassador to Iran.
