Hawzah News Agency –Under the aegis of the Center for Women and Family Affairs of Karamat Razavi Foundation, the “Razavi Lifestyle” program has been running for four years in an attempt to consolidate the life of newlyweds by tapping into the capacities of Astan Quds Razavi, the body in charge of Imam Reza holy shrine. This spiritual undertaking has so far provided services to the underprivileged people as well as migrants alongside ordinary people from different walks of life.
According to Fatemeh Dezhbord, head of the Center for Women and Family Affairs, “the first phase of the program ran last year for 50 suburban migrant couples, and the second year has expanded the support program to cover 150 underprivileged migrant couples from the outskirts of Mashhad”, in northeast of Iran.
She further noted that the newlyweds invited to the “Razavi Lifestyle” ceremony would take part in educational and recreational programs, receive a copy of the holy Quran, and eat at Imam Reza Dining Hall before they commence their married life.
Dezhbord concluded that the couples would benefit from the services of the program such as education and support, counseling, science and skills activities connected to matrimony and rearing children, etc.
