Hawzah News Agency – Imam Hasan (AS), when asked about gallantry, said,

حِفظُ الدِّينِ، وإعزازُ النّفسِ، ولِينُ الكَنَفِ، وتَعَهُّدُ الصَّنيعَةِ، وأداءُ الحُقوقِ، والتَّحَبُّبُ إلَى النّاسِ.

'[It is] Protecting the religion, dignifying the self, lowering one's wing [in humility], dedication in one's actions, fulfilling rights, and showing love to people.'
