Hawzah News Agency - (Occupied Palestine) - Israeli military court sentenced, on Sunday, a Palestinian child from Jenin refugee camp, in the northern occupied West Bank, to serve 5 years in prison, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

Samer Abdul-Karim Awais, 17, was detained by Israeli forces on April 15, 2019, and for 2 months, was isolated and tortured in the Petah Tikva detention center.

The youth’s father and brother continue to be incarcerated by the Israeli occupation army, and another one of his brothers was assassinated in 2002 by Israeli fired missiles.
