Hawzah News Agency - Ali has narrated from his father from abu Hashim al-Ja‘fari who has said the following.
“We were in the presence of Imam al-Rida that a discussion about intelligence took place and the Imam said, “O abu Hashim, intelligence is a present from Allah but discipline is a skill and burden. One who would pretend as a well disciplined one he would certainly establish full control in it. But to pretend as a person of intelligence would increase in him nothing but more ignorance.”
