Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - Shaykh Muhammad Khojasteh, member of Muslim Scholars Association of Bahrain, made some remarks during a ceremony held in Qom, Iran to mark the 6th anniversary of the Bahraini Revolution on Monday, February 13. He asserted that Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qasim is regarded as the main pillar of Islamic Unity among Bahraini citizens; "We've reached the 6th anniversary of our popular revolution, but the corrupt Al Khalifah regime still continues to carry out its atrocities and shed the blood of innocent Bahrainis."
He added, "The arbitrary execution of 3 Bahraini youth which happened a while ago revealed the regime's hatred and ill intentions towards Bahraini Shias. Al Khalifah regime is imposing a heavy crackdown on dissent in Bahrain with the support of its Western and Arabic allies."
The member of the Muslim Scholars Association of Bahrain further reiterated, "The innocent blood of Bahraini youth, who were executed, has strengthened our people in their resolve to fight the ruling regime in Bahrain; whoever stands in the way of this popular movement is doomed to fail." Hawzah reported.
"In the past, the family of Imam Husayn (as) was besieged in Karbala; today, Bahraini Shias who are true supporters of Imam Husayn's cause are also going through a heavy blockade in their own land. As the victory of blood over sword prevailed itself in Karbala, the Oppressive regime of Al Khalifah will be overthrown as well." Khojasteh concluded.
