“Such inhumane measures serve the benefit of our enemies like Israel and Saudis, because the Zionist regime and Al Saud are together in this fight against Bahraini Shias and their roles have become known to the public.” said Molavi Nadhir Ahmad.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - Molavi Nadhir Ahmad, a Sunni scholar, made some remarks regarding the ongoing conditions in Bahrain saying, "The revoking of Shaykh Isa Qasim's citizenship by the Al Khalifah regime is considered as an illegitimate, immoral and inhumane action. Such measures are in line with the atrocities carried out by the enemies of Islam. Such action, regardless against whom or where, is strongly condemned, especially when it's targeted at religious leaders and scholars,"

Muslims including Shia and Sunni sects , academics , intellectual figures as well as popular masses all must negotiate with those in power in order to make them realize what is their legitimate will; the Bahraini people also need to inform Al Khalifah rulers of the severe consequences of their cruel actions in case they convict Shaykh Isa in court."

Referring to Saudi Arabia’s role in Bahrain’s ongoing conditions, Nadhir Ahmad added, “The Bahraini regime is carrying out its atrocities with the support of Saudi rulers; Since Bahrain is a tiny Island whose majority are Shia Muslims and the ruling regime does not have enough power to suppress its people unless other countries such as Saudi Arabia are involved in these atrocities; It has become clear that Saudi rulers are providing aid to Al Khalifah in order to oppress innocent Bahraini citizens including Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qasim."

“Such inhumane measures serve the benefit of our enemies like Israel and Saudis, because the Zionist regime and Al Saud are together in this fight against Bahraini Shias and their roles have become known to the public.”

The Sunni cleric then denied the conspiracy that has been recently raised which claims Bahraini Shias are causing unrest and discord in the country saying, ”We believe that the current unrest and popular uprising in Bahrain is beyond the issue of Shia or Sunni sects, rather it’s an overwhelming response by all Bahraini citizens to voice their protest against the ill policies of Saudi Arabia, U.S. and their allies in the region.”
