Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi, a Shia source of emulation, met with a group of scholars from Al-Mustafa International University along with some French Muslim scholars in Imam al-Sajjad Seminary school in Iran's Qom on Saturday, December 31.
During the meeting, the senior cleric asserted, "All efforts carried out to promote Islam, particularly Ahl-ul-Bayt's teachings, are considered as a worthwhile religious act."
Expressing his gratitude for al-Mustafa University's international efforts to promote Islam worldwide, Grand Ayatollah added, "In present world, people are eager and curious to know more about Islam and the pure message of Allah; they are tired of the world's materialistic attitudes and are seeking divine teachings. Islam is a religion that will quench nations' thirst for truth and knowledge."
Addressing the scholars present in the meeting, Grand Ayatollah Makarem concluded, "You must value your efforts and keep going with all your power, since today's world is craving to learn more about pure divine teachings."
