Hawzah News Agency (Najaf, Iraq) - A group of Shia Muslims met with Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi, a Shia source of emulation, in his office in the city of Najaf on Tuesday, December 6.

During the meeting, the senior Iraqi cleric highlighted the importance of making pilgrimage to the Iraqi holy shrines and the impacts of such religious act on the lives of Muslim believers saying, “The act of pilgrimage affects the actions and attitude of those who make such a religious journey in a positive way,”

He added, “The pilgrims and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) must study the biography and teachings of the Holy Infallibles (PBUT) in order to promote their message to the whole world, such action serves as an invitation for people to obey Allah (SWT) and follow religious ethics,”
